Technology & Personalized Eye Care
Technology is always evolving, and at Professional Eye Care, we believe in staying at the forefront of technological advancements in eye care. Our team implements diagnostic tools and equipment to help provide our patients with a comprehensive and productive exam experience.
Through different technologies, such as OCT and Optos California for imaging, topography for eye measurements, dark adaptation testing, and more, we can check for signs of disease, fit contact lenses, and manage conditions like macular degeneration.

Request AppointmentDetailed Eye Exams for Personalized Treatment
Eye exams are about more than updating your prescription. They allow our team to examine your eye health more closely and check for potential issues.
Eye diseases and other conditions can sometimes develop without symptoms. Our Optomap exams and visual field scans can help us look for hidden problems with your vision. Early detection allows us to prepare a personalized treatment plan.
Learn About Our Technology
Whether you’re visiting us for a comprehensive eye exam, a contact lens exam and fitting, or need help managing cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration, we have the technology that helps us in various situations.
Our team strives to take your eye care experience to the next level by constantly evolving and finding new ways to make your visit as productive and helpful as possible.
Dr. Martin loves talking about the technology in our office, so if you get the chance, be sure to chat with him during your exam!
Optos Optomap
Our Optos California imaging system helps provide us with a comprehensive view of your retina, capturing crucial details that traditional methods may miss.
This advanced technology allows us to:
- Detect early signs of disease: Identify potential issues like diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and glaucoma in their earliest stages.
- Monitor disease progression: Track changes in your retinal health over time and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Enhance diagnostic accuracy: Provide detailed images for precise diagnosis and treatment planning.
AdaptDX
The AdaptDx is a valuable tool for detecting early signs of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a leading cause of vision loss in adults.
This noninvasive test measures your eyes’ light sensitivity, helping us identify potential AMD development before symptoms arise. Early detection of AMD allows for timely intervention and treatment plans to manage the disease and preserve vision.

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)
Imagine having a 3D map of your eye’s inner workings. OCT is an imaging technology that creates high-resolution cross-sectional images of the retina, the light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye.
We use the TopCon Maestro 2 for retinal imaging and optical coherence tomography.
This detailed view allows us to examine the retina’s structure in unprecedented detail, helping us detect and diagnose eye diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy at their earliest stages when treatment is most effective.
Aberrometer/Topographer
The iProfiler system combines traditional wavefront technology with corneal topography to create a comprehensive map of your entire eye. This detailed information allows us to create a customized vision correction solution, whether it’s eyeglasses or LASIK surgery.
Topography also helps our team during the contact lens fitting process, helping our patients secure a safe and comfortable fit for their new lenses.
The iProfiler Plus provides an accurate starting prescription that helps our team provide precise and personalized vision correction.
Solos Lensmeter
SOLOS is a fully automated lensmeter with a full-range spectrometer that detects, measures and marks single vision, progressive and other multifocal lenses in a spectacle frame or as uncut lenses.
With a single touch, SOLOS automatically positions each lens, detects the lens type and performs comprehensive measurements of both lenses within a spectacle frame.
Olleyes’s VisuALL ETS
Olleyes’s VisuALL ETS model is a wearable headset that can deliver fast, comfortable and clinically validated visual field examinations. It can also measure Visual Acuity, Color Vision, Contrast Sensitivity, Pupillometry, and Extraocular Eye Movements. It also has pediatric tests for children.
Putting Your Eye Health First
